DESCRIPTION

“Romantic Port, Dynamic Wing” were the concept of the project. Through depicting the dynamic wings spreading over the romantic port, Mokpo’s will to fly higher want to be revealed. Arrangement is made the main stadium will be the hub of the Mokpo Sports Complex which connects nearby sports facilities such as international soccer centers and baseball stadiums easily. The stadium was designed in eco-friendly way by accepting level difference and creating picnic seats utilizing sloped areas. Through empting the northern spectator’s stand and creating citizen’s forest which connects picnic stand, this stadium wanted to be a stadium which is open to the citizen, and a place for communication between citizen and nature. The roof, which depicted spreading wings, and its widespreading roof shape toward the sea, are expected to become Mokpo's new landmark.
