The main space of the school - the heart of this new village - is Nature; treated with respect, flowing in from the surrounding hills and enclosed by the school. A sense of proximity and intimacy with the mountain contrasts with the big horizons across the valley to the east and to the city and river to the north. Nature meanders through the new school, flowing under a series of ¡®learning bridges¡¯ uniting the campus with the mountain. The biggest `room¡¯ of this new special school is the`invited¡¯ Nature, sheltered by these bridges. The ¡®living¡¯ homes of this new school are positioned in the most easterly section of the site so that students could enjoy the delights of this unique place, the morning sun, fresh air and mountain views.
