“The beautiful sunset over Wonsan island resort is warm and cozy The design motif for the new Daemyung luxury resort was on the natural contours and curvilinear form of island. The figurative lines translated to form overall massing. To take advantage of the most scenic and beautiful vistas, the main accommodations was placed along the southern part of the island. Themed facilities and programs were placed along the northern ridge, optimal access to the site the main entry was place on the north-south axis. In an effort to provide ocean view to all guestrooms, the building wraps inner courts much like an open arms. For an added attraction, a themed shuttle system which circumnavigates the island was programmed.
